I'm a little on the fritz about whether or not this layout is cute or cheesy. I've opted to steer clear of the stress of seating charts and & assigned seats though, so I'm up for new ideas. Whats your take?

Floating Bubbles
How gorgeous are these bulbs when arranged together to look like floating bubbles? The event designer placed a airy pink flower inside of one to give each accent an extra sweet touch. While I'm not planning anything like this for my wedding, I think these would make give any outdoor soiree a soft and romantic feel.

Outdoor Wedding
With the March issue of The Stanton Magazine launching this past Wednesday, my most recent wedding obsessions had to be put on the back burner. Luckily, however, I've finally had a chance to go looking for inspiration. Today I found this amazing idea for outdoor wedding decor. As some of you may know, Marc and I are hoping for an outdoor wedding (venue TBD) in May of 2012. To accent the natural environment, I'm hoping to get my hands on some of the phenomenally unique hanging light fixtures pictured below.

Guy Friendly
I keep hearing about the idea of having a "groom's cave" at weddings. General idea is whisky & cigars but some that I have heard of even include XBox- that last detail may be a little much for me...
I do love the idea, though, of having an area for the guys to hang out for a few. I especially liked the cigar bar set up pictured below. When I showed the picture to Marc, however, he warned me that cigars would smell too strong for the other guests unless we definitely have an outside reception. Good thing thats what we're leaning towards... I'm still undecided but maybe thats because I won't be having any. We'll have to wait & see but I'm still liking the thought.

Outdoor Wedding
After some searching around El Paso, I pretty much have my heart set on an outdoor wedding. What's still up for debate, though, is whether we'll go for Grace Gardens, a backyard reception in the Upper Valley, or even some other great location. One unique idea I found was to get married at one of the local pecan farms. These pictures are from a ceremony & reception which took place at a pecan orchard in New Mexico and I'm in love. The scenery is so romantic.
Instantly added to my checklist of things to look into...
